Main purpose of the role

We are looking for B2B sales specialists to join our MTN campaign, the role entails acquiring new business through cold calling and conversion of prospective customers to actual sales. Achievement of Sales targets and customer satisfaction is key to your success in this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

Target Achievement:

  • Achieve individual sales target for new business and customer acquisition

Cold calling:

  • Ability to acquire new clients
  • Ability to up-sell and cross–sell
  • Strong focus on acquisitions
  • Ability to source and convert own leads

Customer Relationship management:

  • Responsible for developing relationships with prospects
  • Conduct effective handover of successfully onboarded customers to an account manager

Reporting:

  • Provide accurate forecasting on weekly and monthly sales pipeline
  • Provide daily activity and sales report
  • Up-to-date reporting on marketing leads provided
  • Reports to be submitted within the timeframes required

Processes and Procedures:

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure all interactions are captured on the relevant systems in the approved manner

Minimum qualifications and experience required:

  • Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent (Minimum)
  • Proficient in MS Office (All packages)
  • No Criminal Record
  • Must have at least 1-2 years’ Experience in B2B (SME) sales with a track record of acquiring new customers
  • Mobile/telecoms experience would be an added advantage
  • Proven track record in the form of Commission and/or Awards, Accolades, Historic Target Achievements

Salary information: A cost to company and lucrative uncapped commission structure is on offer.
