MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The main purpose of this role is to Monitor and Manage a Team of Sales Agents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage a team with regards to
  1. Attendance
  2. Meeting targets
  3. Time keeping
  4. Talk time
  5. Productivity
  6. Compliance
  • Motivation of the team
  • Promote diversity within the team
  • Assist team members with escalated queries and on the floor queries
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Report any IT related issue to the campaign manager
  • Team specific reporting as per campaign requirements
  • Coaching and performance management of team members


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Matric – certificate must be presented for validation
  • Must have a minimum of one year team leader experience
  • Must have at least two years outbound short term insurance experience either as an agent or manager
  • Must be eligible to be added to the Rep register
  • Computer literate

Desirable:

  • RE / FAIS desirable
  • Previous experience working with insurance products an added advantage
  • Knowledge of sales principles and methods
  • Strong excel skills
