POSITION

Short Term Insurance Sales Agents

REPORTS TO

Team Leader

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To obtain data from clients to inform the preparation of short term insurance quotations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 6 months contact centre sales experience
  • Insurance industry experience advantageous
  • English (Second Language Advantageous)
  • Must be able to work on Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook (Basic)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convince potential clients to answer questions telephonically for an insurance quotation
  • Achieve predefined quotation targets
  • Ensure that all quotations are in line with financial services compliance standards
  • Ensure that call quality standards are maintained
  • Accurately capture data provided by clients
  • Professionally transfer clients through to qualified financial advisors in line with required standards

  • Clear ITC records
  • RE5 Advantageous
  • FAIS Advantageous
  • Must be eligible to go on the Rep Register
  • DOFA must not be expired if so must have RE5 and FAIS

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00 or as per campaign requirements.
