Main purpose of the role:

To maintain and grow a portfolio of corporate clients by driving New Acquisitions and Upgrades as well as reduce churn. This role will exercise your abilities in both as a Hunter and a Farmer within the mobile space. You should work to satisfy customer needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver an overall positive customer experience. Achievement of Sales targets and customer satisfaction is key to your success in this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

Target Achievement:

  • Achieve individual sales target for new business and retentions/upgrades

Cold calling:

  • Ability to acquire new clients
  • Ability to up-sell and cross–sell
  • Strong focus on acquisitions

Customer Relationship management:

  • Responsible for developing relationships with the assigned customer base
  • Maintain and grow existing client base
  • Conduct customer account analysis
  • Maintain, build and service relationships on a regular basis

Query management:

  • Identify, address and resolve concerns / queries
  • Provide feedback to customers within 24hr


  • Provide weekly pipeline report
  • Provide daily activity and sales report
  • Monthly Base report to be provided

Processes and Procedures:

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure all interactions are captured on the relevant systems in the approved manner

Minimum qualifications and experience required:

  • Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent (Minimum)
  • Proficient in MS Office (All packages)
  • No Criminal Record
  • Must have 1 – 2 years mobile/telecoms experience
  • Must have at least 1-2 years’ Experience as a B2B sales executive/Account manager within the Telecommunications industry (ICT, Fixed lines etc) however mobile experience will be an advantage
  • Proven track record in the form of Commission and/or Awards, Accolades, Historic Target Achievements

Salary information:

A lucrative commission structure with basics up to R18k depending on skill, experience and proof of income.
