MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To provide our Company Management with accurate, complete and value-adding financial reporting, financial analysis and management insight relating to the financial status of campaigns administered & sold by the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key financial analysis and metrics as required by the business
- Financial modelling for business cases
- Variances analysis
- Data Analysis
- Lapse, Churn and Persistency Analysis
- Preparing Budgets and assisting with year-end audits
- Responsible for the submission and analysis of each bill run
- Preparation of Bordereaux reconciliations to ensure all commission structures are in line with SLAs
- Responsible for the timely resolution of all queries relating to bill run submissions
- Responsible for completeness and accuracy of customer premium collections.
- Pay through the bank stats for Client Services and Sales
- Preparing monthly revenue estimates
- Ensuring our databases are in sync with our Policy Administrators
- Responsible for preparing written financial analytic reports and presentations
- System testing
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Matric
- Relevant degree (Accounting, Economics or Finance Majors)
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Billing and working knowledge of Debicheck
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with Financial Modelling
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage
